Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad

We want to wish you a Happy Anniversary. We hope you will enjoy the selection of family pictures from over the years. What a glorious 61 years!
I won't even begin to put dates on the pictures....some are out of order just a little. But this first one we know for sure Nov. 26, 1947. What a great beginning for a wonderful family. You should be so proud!
Fast forward to about 1958........and then enjoy the memories......
This was a surprise picture we had taken for Dad. If you look close you will see a bowl with a spoon behind Brent (opps) on the mantle and in the other room on the left...is the ironing board and iron. Brent forgot to tighten up his tie for the picture.

We tried it again another year....for a surprise picture for Dad....that's why he isn't in these two.

Dad and Oma and Jim and Opa. Jim would know what year this is....probably around 1968
My high school graduation with Dad and Opa

1976...Bruce and Brian with grandpa and grandma.

A visit from the Prophet....Spencer W. Kimball

Thanksgiving 1982

You are a great example to us and a great blessing in our lives. We love you mom and dad.

A Very Special Birthday Boy

It was Tyler's birthday today. Last Saturday he had his friends party and on Sunday Heather cooked dinner for everyone. Here is a picture of his invitation. It was really clever. He is really into Star Wars this year and is featured on his own invitation.

These are some of the gifts that he got at the family party. Golf clubs from Papa George. Just his size. His dad has a golfing buddy now!
Opening gifts while the cousins watch.

A Cubs winter hat and Cubs jersey.

Star Wars sheets and pillow for his bed.

His Star Wars cake.

A family birthday picture.
Happy 6th Birthday Tyler....we love you!

Texas Trip

We had a wonderful few days with Denise and Brandon and Brayden. The weather was beautiful. Who wouldn't love 80 degrees in mid November. We went to a movie with Brayden. We didn't last too long....she didn't like it when the lights went out. The only reason we have sweathers on is because of the air conditioning.

She liked the posters in the movie theaters the best!

We went to the Children's museum. I have a membership and it was good there too.
In this picture Brayden is looking at the fish aquarium.

Covered wagon.
Milking a cow.

And even a section on teeth.

But our most favorite thing to do was to make Oreo Turkeys!

We had such a fun time!!

Then and Now

Bruce recently made a quick trip to Utah. I think it is fun looking back at "old times" with his grandpa then.....(1976) and with grandma too.....(and Brian)
And now! (2008)
I know he enjoyed with quick visit with gma and gpa!

Guess Who?

I was wondering if anyone would like to take a guess as to who the patient is in this picture. We all know who the dentist is. (Notice the "no gloves and no mask"). That is the way is used to be. Leave your guesses in the comments.
I think this one is a little more obvious.

More Halloween Activities

This past Saturday the town where our office is had Trick or Treating at all the stores and businesses. Tyler and Natalie made the rounds then came to help me pass out candy and toothpaste. They were such good helpers and did such a great job.
Natalie and Brooke were happy to see each other in their costumes. Natalie is a butterfly and Brooke is TinkerBell.
Tyler was helping to keep Drew entertained in his seat.

Then Sunday night Blake and Drew just "hanging out" together. Boy...aren't these two going to be best buds as they grow up together....and then add Denise and Brandon's little guy to the "party".....oh....I can see the fun family reunions now!!

Debbie and Ryan walked over with Blake and his new winter hat. It turned cold on us today!
Too cute!!!

Halloween Fun

All the cousins met up for some Trick or Treating at Town Square. They were all pretty content with their treats.
Left to right....Ella, Natalie, Ally, Tyler holding Drew, Brooke and little Tyler in stroller with Blake in his seat in the front.
Blake tried sleeping through the fun.
Drew was a brave lion

Tyler, Natalie, Ella, Ally and little Tyler.

Earlier in the week Debbie took some pictures of Tyler and Natalie in their costumes.
